Pricing

DaDesktop offers four flexible payment options to suit different needs:

1. Public cloud (starting at 3 EUR per day)
2. Private server (starting at 10 EUR per day)
3. Reseller or volume purchasing (starting at 0.1 EUR per day)
4. On premise
    

Public Cloud

Desktops are billed daily, beginning at 3 EUR per day for a standard Linux desktop equipped with 8GB of RAM, an 8-core CPU, and 50GB of SSD storage.

Each additional 8GB of RAM, 8 CPU cores, and 50GB of storage adds another 3 EUR to the daily rate.

Windows machines carry an extra charge of 1 EUR per day. If you already have your own Windows license, this fee is waived.

NB Daily charges apply within any 24-hour period starting from midnight, based on the local server time.

 

Private Server

For predictable costs regardless of the number of desktops you run or the resources allocated to a single desktop, you can purchase an entire server.

With this option, you are only constrained by the server's total resources, not by units or the number of desktops. Please contact us for more details.

 

Reseller or volume discounts

Discounts of up to 80% are offered for reseller and volume purchases.

This arrangement is typically suited for companies planning to:

1. Integrate DaDesktop with your product
2. Resell it
3. Purchase in high volumes 
    

On-premise

The standard price for on-premise deployment is 6 EUR per core.

 

Public Cloud Case Scenarios

Case 1

A person uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 8 hours within a single day. 

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 2

A person uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for a couple of hours each day over 5 days. 

Total price: 5 days * 3 EUR = 15 EUR

Case 3

1. A person uses an Ubuntu desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. A new desktop with identical specifications is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Total price: 3 EUR

Case 4

1. A person uses an Ubuntu standalone desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. Another desktop with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB of storage is created on the same day and used for 1 hour

Two machines are used, each with a different configuration:

Machine 1 = 3 EUR

Machine 2 = 6 EUR

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR

Case 5

1. A person uses an Ubuntu course desktop with 8GB RAM, 8 CPUs, and 50GB of storage for 1 hour
2. The desktop is then deleted
3. Another desktop created by the same participant or trainer with 16GB RAM, 16 CPUs, and 100GB of storage is used on the same day for 1 hour

Total price: 3 + 6 = 9 EUR 

 

Courses

For Public Cloud and Reseller options, Courses are billed to the Organization Owner based on the users who created desktops during the course duration.

Trainers

• If a Trainer is invited to the course, the Organization Owner is billed for it.
• If the Trainer creates the course, the Trainer is billed for it.

• In short, the Organization owner of the created course is the one who gets billed.
