Technical Interviews
Technical interviews needs a controlled environment. The candidate works in a clean desktop, the interviewer sees exactly what the candidate does, and the setup is the same for every person. DaDesktop gives you that environment on demand, with no hardware to provision.
What the environment gives you
- Identical setup for every candidate: The same tools, the same starting state. No "my machine is different" problems.
- Isolated from the candidate's own systems: the desktop is a separate environment. The candidate works only inside it.
- Reset between candidates: wipe the desktop and start clean. No leftover files, no carried-over code.
How it works
Each candidate gets a cloud desktop with the tools for the task: an editor, a terminal, a browser. The interviewer observes the session in real time. When the interview ends, you reset the desktop and the next candidate starts from the same state.
Candidates do not need to install anything. They simply connect to the desktop from a browser, removing setup time and hardware differences from the process.
What you can control per session
| Control | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Starting image | Same tools and state for everyone |
| Reset | Clean slate between candidates |
| Observation | Interviewer sees the live session |
