Creating Organizations
When you register, an organization is typically set up automatically using the same name as your username.
However, you might occasionally want to create a separate Organization—for example, a company name—if multiple users from the same business are using DaDesktop.
Note: Only Super Admins can create an Organization.

Creating Organizations in DaDesktop
There are two ways to create an Organization: the default method, which also creates an owner account at the same time, and a second method that skips the owner account (useful if the account already exists).
Option 1: Create an Organization with an Owner Account
- You’ll need the account owner’s email, a password, and their first and last names. Roles can be added as needed. The currency is set based on the portal you’re using—for example, dadesktop.com defaults to EUR, while dadesktop.cn uses CNY.
- You must provide an Organization name along with a short code. Keep the code brief, but remember it can’t be changed later.
- The settings for Allowing course recordings and publishing recordings apply to all recordings within the Organization. Similarly, the Receiving Promotional Emails option affects the entire organization.
- The Allow Recordings toggle controls whether course recordings are enabled across the whole organization.
- You can select Private servers if necessary. Remember, a server must already be marked as ‘Private’ before it appears as an option here.
